View on Education

Education is a very important aspect in everyday life. There is a reason why the majority of Americans are in the schooling system and that education is always one of the main topics in political discussions. Personally, I think that education is essential to develop in life; without it there isn’t much progress that can be made for anyone. I have grown up in an environment where education is very important; there isn’t anyone who doesn’t attend school. We actually bring students in who have potential, but no resources, and we give them an education in our schools. Compared to the majority’s view on education and its importance, it is pretty much in agreement with my views.
My personal view on education is that people should take advantage of the systems, no matter how excellent or poor they are, and strive in life. With even the littlest amount of education in one’s life, they will be able to go in more places than if they didn’t have any education at all. I believe that there are a lot of chances in life that people have to take advantage of, and most of them come to people with an education. Reading about many people with poor educational systems and a different literacy due to their culture, it has made it clearer that most of the illiterate population don’t get much help from their community. That is a major reason why I like the program in my town called A Better Chance, where they pluck educational driven people from New York City or parts of New Jersey and place them into a great education and see how they strive in the future. People can only expect a future if they continually build their talents and intelligence. Both of my parents have gone back to school after their primary graduation to become more educated. Especially in today’s world, with technology, things are changing so rapidly; “if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it” (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off). There will so many things that people will miss out on, especially job opportunities and therefore a higher salary, which leads to a better, more comfortable lifestyle. In my opinion, education is the tool for a promising future.
Similarly, society views education as an important aspect people should have in life. It might not take the importance to the extreme as my personal opinion, but society still feels that education is very important. My views on education appear to be a little more extreme than how society observes it, but education is still highly viewed. Society believes that the educational systems should be updated and better quality to give all citizens an equal chance for an education to lead to a better future for a better America. No matter who you ask, everyone will say that education is very important, and very essential for a good future.
